My name is Bernhard Prange , I’ve been self-employed since 2014 and specialize in Google Ads & Tracking for e-commerce and B2B. My work has evolved from many different roles – from diving instructor to dual business administration studies with a focus on marketing, to online shop management.

Today, I bring over 10 years of experience in performance marketing , coupled with broad technical expertise in Magento, Shopware, Google Analytics, Matomo , and Google Cloud (BigQuery) . This breadth of experience allows me to take a holistic view of advertising goals and support clients not only with ads, but also with tracking , data analysis, and automation .

My path

I realized early on that I prefer tackling complex challenges – and automating repetitive tasks. This drive to make things more efficient still shapes my work today.

    The focus was on how to acquire high-quality data in marketing. Bernhard presented how server-side tracking and data enrichment can provide deeper insights. Using POAS and event value attribution, he demonstrated practical ways to use budgets more effectively and profitably.

    The presentation focused on optimizing product feeds using AI. Bernhard introduced the “GPT Feedcreator,” which generates high-performance shopping feeds even from minimal product information. This allows companies to make their PPC campaigns more efficient, improve ad performance, and significantly increase their ROI.
  • SEAcamp 2024

    Bernhard also demonstrated how ChatGPT can be used in practice for Google Shopping feeds. Participants learned how to automatically improve product data to make campaigns more visible and successful. The goal: better data quality, higher conversions, and a clear competitive advantage.
  • PPC Camp 2023

    Bernhard explained how Matomo can be used in the Google Cloud in compliance with GDPR. This allows e-commerce companies to collect complete and accurate conversion data without losing data sovereignty. The presentation offered practical solutions for efficiently managing Google Ads campaigns based on valid data.
  • SEAcamp 2023

    In this presentation, Bernhard critically examined Google’s Performance Max format. He demonstrated how to leverage the limited data available via the Google Ads API to gain performance insights at both the asset and audience levels. This allows for data-driven analysis and significantly more targeted optimization of Pmax campaigns.
  • Analytics Pioneers Magazine

    In issue 6 (August 2024) of Analytics Pioneers magazine, Bernhard published the article “Matomo – and then what? Looker Studio reporting for Matomo.” In it, he shows how companies can efficiently process their Matomo data in Looker Studio to build meaningful dashboards.
