With our Matomo Conversion Tracking integration, you can confidently forgo the Google Ads conversion tag on your website. Thanks to Matomo’s automated reporting and the subsequent upload of your conversions to Google Ads, you don’t need any extra data – neither from Google Analytics nor from Google Ads. Matomo’s conversion tracking even allows you to do your own attribution. This solution takes into account the assignment of conversion number and conversion value to a specific Google Click ID (GCLID). The functionality of remarketing lists must still be provided by Google Analytics. With the correct setup of Matomo, it is also possible to include tracking by the client in this way in full compliance with common data protection laws.
